About these tutorials

These tutorials have been created from various Internet sites and have been modified by myself, and in some instances have been reworked or completely re-written to suit my classes.

There is an abundance of on line tutorials and most are very useful, however I have had to modify these for high school students and simplify or removed parts of advanced sessions; if students are keen enough they will progress by looking at the links provided.

Therefore you should treat these as introductory or beginning tutorials. The easiest start at 100 and progress in difficulty through that range. Where possible I have included references or links to sites used and apologise for any that I might have missed.

At some schools that I was at, they had only Microsoft Office and Corel Suite but I spent seven years at a school with The Adobe Suite and other software like Filemaker, so I have included tutorials for as many packages that I have used.  I am constantly upgrading the tutorials to keep pace with any upgrades or changes so consider this section under construction.

A small database in word, covering various reports for a range of student ability and school effort, covers homeroom then academic and general school with appropriate wording.

For misbehaving students on computers, Student essay to be handwritten before the lesson ends, if a student is caught again the student immediately to the left and right also get an essay to complete, if they still persist then the whole class is given the essay as homework.

A group lesson on Economics and the world environment students are working together to produce goods, some with good resources others with poor resources.
